Guinea pigs in the winter?

I'm putting two guinea pigs, and no way to put them inside, even in the depths of winter. My mother used to have guinea pigs when the winters were snowy each year, and kept outside all year to 9 years (the age that pigs lasted). I made a lot of research, and the plot is pretty 50/50. Guinea pigs are naturally wild animals, so actually prefer that outside, so I'm just a little worried about them is too cold outside. Also, some people leave the guinea pigs to roam free in your garden throughout the year, and the piggies are well huddled under some hay. If it is absolutely freezing, I invest in a small greenhouse and keep the zipper from there. No hate comments or detrimental, please:) Thanks:) I live in southern England, so the winters will really only 3C-tops (I do not work in F)

"Guinea pigs are naturally wild animals, so it really would prefer," This is absolutely false, on the road. All animals are "naturally wild" if you take that view. Indeed, the outdoors is very dangerous to all pets, especially small animals dams, especially in temperate zones. They are so far from their ancestors so that they would die if left on their own. If you can inside the house of your pet, I recommend strongly against getting them. You are not able to provide the highest quality of care. It's not just the temperature – high winds predators may be dangerous or roaming (dogs, cats, coyotes, birds of prey) can kill or scare (which can be fatal) pets outdoors. http://www.guinealynx.info/housing.html
